Through RGO 2020, TPWD's streamlined grant application processes and integrated grants management system, you can:
APPLY
Sponsors can use RGO 2020 to apply for Federal and State funding opportunities via TPWD Recreation Grants.
MANAGE
Awarded projects can use RGO 2020 to complete required grant management tasks (Quarterly Reports, Reimbursements, Benchmark Project tasks, etc).
GET STARTED
Step 1) Review the Resources section of the website for programmatic guidance on the grant opportunities offered by Recreation Grants, including samples of current grant applications, required documents, etc.
Step 2) Familiarize yourself with the RGO 2020 Quick Start Guide for an overview the online application process in the RGO 2020 system.
Step 3) If you are ready to apply, create your User Account and Sponsor Organization by clicking on the 'New User' button at the right of this page. To watch a short video that guides you through this process, click HERE.
Step 4) Once you have completed and submitted the information for your Sponsor Organization and User Account, you will receive an email confirming that your request was submitted. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder for this email if it doesn't arrive in your inbox, and add us to your safe sender list so that you can continue to receive messages from us. TPWD will review your new account request and either approve it or reach out to you for confirmation. You'll receive a follow up email from the system, once your request is confirmed, and you can then login and apply for available grant opportunities.
